![]() Oh did I mention it just straight up doesn't work half the time? I can't tell you how many times I've gone invis and the ai clearly knows where I am and chases or shoots at me still. It feels bad to constantly take breaks from fighting as your class identity. Invis is a tool to heal and reposition where overshields and devour/wells keep you in the fight. It takes you out of the fight rather than keeping you in. The problem in PvE is that our "niche" is passive. Hopefully if you’re ever in need of support you’ll remember the number they give you! But I’m fine thanks. I clearly called it “Underwhelming” and “Uninspired”.Īnd finally thanks to the cheeky person who decided to report me to a Reddit Crisis hotline bot. It’s hilarious the amount of people who said I called Nightstalker weak. Points and perspectives can always be exchanged when we’re all willing to listen.Īlso shoutout to the people who didn’t read and are just putting words into my mouth. And shoutout to the people who actually read this and are having a good dialogue. I’m just hoping Solar and Arc Hunter reworks are… inspired.Įdit: Fixed some typos. VOID HUNTERS FULLComplaints about Void 3.0 have gotten Hunters nerfed in PVP, but complaints about the kit being underwhelming haven’t gotten them any buffs in PVE.īungie is most likely full speed ahead on their other subclass reworks, so Void probably won’t get any attention until all is said and done. ![]() No Bungie Replied, no passing statement on Twitter.īefore WQ sandbox lead Kevin Yanes said on twitter (didn’t link the tweet because the Reddit format hates his username)… “I mean regardless of our intent if it ends up being that Void Hunter isnt potent enough at launch we can always always always make adjustments.”Īnd here we are. There hasn’t been an acknowledgement of people being disappointed with Void 3.0 for Hunters. And you can tell when other things didn’t receive that same love and care. ![]() But people always remember the things they’re passionate about. What does it tell you about “inspired work”, when a developer begins to gush about how they went and got updated tech to make an niche interaction between Child of the Old Gods and Arc Souls… but then forget which Hunter exotic does what. Just a reskinned Shatterdive that’s less effective than the now removed “Vanish in Smoke, and 3 Aspects that all involve invisibility. While Titans and Warlocks were given brand new abilities and Aspects that had variation, Hunters received nothing new. What’s easier? Bringing something down a bit after everyone says the thing you made is TOO good, or buffing something after everyone says the thing you made wasn’t worth the hype you gave it? They wonder why you bothered even hyping this up. People play it and think it’s pretty underwhelming. VOID HUNTERS UPDATEScenario B: You release an update to a class. Scenario A: You release an update to a class. Telling us that we have no idea how good it’s going to be. But then we have Bungie Devs telling us to just wait. ![]() It’s one thing to hear that from other players. It became more accessible via popularity and marketing but not more powerful.īut why haven’t we gotten any feedback on the numerous posts about how it’s underwhelming in PVE.īecause no one is more stubborn that someone who thinks they’re right when everyone says they’re wrong.Īs Void 3.0 was being shown off, there was an underlying murmur among Hunters that their Void rework looked… underwhelming. Invis was nerfed after a month of Void 3.0 after it has remained largely the same since inception. This isn’t about whether or not invis was OP in PVP, so let’s not start that dialogue again. ![]()
